MONDAY MANIA: End of the Year TBR

by - 1:45 PM

So, of course, when I posted my Halloween TBR a few weeks ago, I didn’t read a single book on that list, save for Hexed by Michelle Krys! I love myself and the fact that the minute I try to set a routine, everything disinterests me. It’s pretty great being me.

Anyway, this is obviously just a suggestion to myself and I’ll be surprised if I even read two books off of this list.

This is basically just the books that I have/that are coming out soon that I would like to read before 2016 is over. And it’ll be over very soon, which is so mind-blowing.

Let me know which books you want to read before the year is up!

Georgia Peaches and Other Forbidden Fruit by Jaye Robin Brown – A gay girl who has a reverend for a father? Check. A gay girl whose reverend father asks her to keep it on the DL when they move to a new town? Check. A gay girl who tries to do what her father asks but then falls in love with a girl in the aforementioned new town? Check. I am SO in.

When We Collided by Emery Lord – I absolutely adored Emery’s first two novels and I am so stoked for this one and I really need to get my shit together and just fucking read it, you know?

Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige – Okay, honestly, the back of the book just gives me chills. That description, though! This book has been out for so long and I finally want to start the series. Dorothy must die and so must I!

Cam Girl by Elliot Wake (formerly Leah Raeder) – Elliot Wake’s first two novels fucked me up. And I’ve heard this one is the mindfuck-iest of them all. I’m not sure I’m emotionally ready for this, but I can’t wait to read this.

A Place in the Sun by R.S. Grey – When I first read the first Summer Games novel, I was begging for a novel about Georgie. MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED.

Dead Girls Society by Michelle Krys – I want to finish the Hexed series but this one just sounds too good to pass up. Absolutely love the title, description, AND cover. #triplethreat

Wicked Heart by Leisa Rayven – Leisa’s writing pisses me off. Only because it’s such a huge build up all the time! Missed connections everywhere! But, the climax is so fucking worth it. Loved the first two Starcrossed novels and I’m super excited to read about Ethan’s sister.

The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee – That cover! I’m so heart eyes right now. The description sounds so goddamn intriguing. One of my friends made this book known to me and I can’t get it out of my head. I need it. NOW.

The Loose Ends List by Carrie Firestone – Again, a gorgeous cover and a super interesting description. This one is just calling my name.

Swear on this Life by Renee Carlino – I tried to read Sweet Thing by Renee a few months ago and couldn’t get into it. I’m willing to give her another chance, though. This book sounds incredible.

The Romantics by Leah Konen – A love story about love with Love as a character? What more could you ask for, honestly?

The Amateurs by Sara Shepard – The creator of Pretty Little Liars has a new book out. Obviously I’m going to read it. I own every single PLL novel. This woman owns my fucking soul.

Heat Wave by Karina Halle – The fact that Karina is a travel writer and writes about all of these foreign and exotic places and also writes about sexy men? I’m so turned on. I can’t stand it.

The Player by Claire Contreras – My guilty pleasure: sports romance novels. They just get me on a down and dirty level, you know?

According to this list, I have twelve books I need to read between now and December 31st. And that doesn’t even include all of the Christmas novels I own that I plan on rereading. I have a busy few weeks ahead of me! I can’t wait.

Happy Reading!
Love,
The Wandereader
